Scotch Shortbread Cookies

Directions

  1. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Gradually add flour. Note that dough will be very stiff.
  2. Pat dough into 7x10 pan or iron skillet.
  3. Bake at 350° for 17 minutes until golden. Do not brown.
  4. Turn out onto paper towel or brown paper and cut into squares or fingers immediately.
