  1. Bring water to boil and cook macaroni al dente.
  2. Melt butter in a saucepan and whisk to combine. Slowly add milk while stirring, ensuring that there aren’t any flour clumps.
  3. Add cubed cheese and stir until cheese has melted. Optional: add hot sauce to your taste preferences.
  4. Pour cheese sauce over cooked macaroni and combine so that all pasta is coated.
  5. Put macaroni in baking dish and bake at 350° for 90 minutes.
