Grandma’s Turkey Stuffing
- Enough for 12-15 lb turkey
- Brendan’s Grandma’s recipe (Helen Papaleo, née Gangemi)
Ingredients
- 1 lb of 85% lean ground beef
- 1 lb sausage meat
- ½ lb butter
- Parsley, oregano, grated cheese
- 1 bag Arnold or Pepperidge Farms herbed bread stuffing
- 1 small can of chicken stock
- 2 eggs lightly beaten
- 3 large onions chopped
Directions
- Brown onions in butter, then throw in meat and brown.
- Put in parsley, oregano and cheese.
- Heat stock in pan, then add bread cubes and soften.
- Throw in meat and egg.
- Stuffing cooked separately at 350° for 30 min covered (put some chicken broth on top before cooking to avoid drying)
